The firm Martin Lamothe has created a diary in which you can follow the countdown of your collection for this september issue 2012 of MBFWM.
Every day, Elena and her team, explain how they are building in their atelier the garments for the parade this sunday 2 September at 19:30h, within the framework of the Mercedes-Benz Madrid Fashion Week . The idea is to explain the history of the garments, the step by step of the collection and the evolution of the creative process of Martin Lamothe.
The idea of this blog arose because Spain has a reduced number of designers with ateliers in which both textile research, as pattern, cut, mounting and pattern design. In our days, es especially necessary to show such a process due to the overcrowding of ready-to-wear trend clothing, that does not enjoy the sensitivity and research that an atelier collection receives. That's why: “Martin Lamothe felt the need to show the differences of our moda by author, the creative, the one unrelated to trends or guidelines and based on creativity and sensitivity towards the materials on the part of the designer”.
