Heineken premieres global campaign ad on television, ‘The Odyssey’, in which he again tries to show that every man has a legendary side.

This new installment of the ‘Heineken® Legends’ was shot in Barcelona and for the first time, Heineken features 20 real people in one of your ads, played to date by a single character.

Taking as starting point ¿it is possible for a single man to have so many extraordinary qualities? the creatives of Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, have chosen this time for roll with 20 real men to keep communicating, with a nod to parody, that any of us possess at least one legendary ability like the protagonists of the Heineken campaigns.

This latest installment of the ‘Heineken® Legends’ was shot over several days in Barcelona, with a large production run that included the construction of a replica cruise ship deck in a beachside car park. The film narrates the adventures of the main actor aboard a cruise ship while using his wits, charm and skills to impress passengers. This hero is capable of anything., from showing off in a limbo contest, dive perfectly in the pool or dance the conga perfectly.

Erik Larsson, Marketing Director of Heineken Spain, values: «Our Legends campaign is a fun tribute to our consumers and their legendary behaviors. We are convinced that all our consumers have at least one legendary talent. They just need a chance to show it to the world. Los anonymous protagonists were selected in an open casting where they had to test their skills. Los 20 finalists proved to be masters in the disciplines necessary for the film, for example slide without losing the pose by a railing, open a Heineken with a lobster or perform a triple somersault in the pool of a unique cruise ship.
