The firm opens its first store dedicated exclusively to its fine jewelry and watch collections in Paris.

El próximo 3 July, the firm Louis Vuitton will open its first store dedicated exclusively to its fine jewelry and watch collections, as well as his first high jewelry workshop, in the number 23 from the emblematic Place Vendôme.

All the excellence of know-how of Louis Vuitton will be present in the new high jewelery workshops of the Maison, located in the attic of an elegant building from the s. XVII where there are still the old work benches where numerous master jewelers have sat generation after generation. Exceptional pieces will be created here that will revisit and celebrate the continually renewed unique legend of “The Soul of Travel” de Louis Vuitton.

The space is at just a few meters de 4, rue Neuve des Capucines, the historic address where Louis Vuitton established its first store in 1854, cradle of the famous know how of the House.

“We are delighted to open our first store dedicated solely to watches and jewelery on the Place Vendôme in Paris and we are proud that our first high jewelery workshop is located in this historic cradle of jewelery expertise.. Aquí, our artisans will be able to express their talent in all its breadth and produce exceptional pieces for the enjoyment of our customers.” – afirma Yves Carcelle, President and CEO of Louis Vuitton.

Louis Vuitton has once again entrusted the architect Peter Marino the layout and interior design of this exclusive building. Making a project that was a dream come true, the architect has paid special attention to the materials used, like marquetry, whose intricate personality contrasts without clashing with the sumptuousness of the pieces on display. Light pale pink panels and Havana leather on the walls make the space more welcoming, providing you with a calm and serene atmosphere. To Peter Marino: “Each piece of jewelry tells a story. In the same way, the decoration should fade with the background, to enable dialogue and the dream that it can inspire in the visitor.”

Drawing inspiration from distant destinations and cultures around the world, Louis Vuitton's high jewelry collection designed by Lorenz Baumer –“The Soul of Travel” (the Soul of the Journey) –, reinterprets, in this third phase, the city of Paris. The new collection has been conceived to commemorate a walk along the route that Louis Vuitton himself would have followed to go from the Arc de Triomphe to the Tuileries garden, with precious discoveries along the way, and finally to Place Vendôme.
