Halfway between the story and the short novel, “Andrés” is the first foray into electronic publishing by José Confuso, blog author “El Hombre Confuso”.

“Andrés” It is the first story included in the collection "Little Confusing Tales". A love story, sex and social media that takes place in three rooms, in a new city and with many filters involved. Un viaje de iniciación lleno de obstáculos donde nada termina siendo lo que parece.

andres_amazonI've been friends with Confuso for some time and I highly recommend your pen– no, no sean malpensados – it's about his literary do both on the blog and in this storydemonstrating how current and contemporary life where we cannot live without elements «essential as instagram» it can be worthy of being dramatized and de-dramatized at the same time to become good literature.

Además, as this boy is always very well surrounded, the cover illustration is the work of Oriol Panadès.

And look what a great start….

Andrés had just arrived in town. I wanted to enjoy all those images that I saw every day on instagram. Streets full of terraces, restaurants with wooden floors and exposed brick walls, entertaining characters posing in front of shop windows, parties and afters, girls from pelo long and handsome boys, sobre todo, handsome boys. In his town there was none of that, bueno, terraces yes, but they all had tables with San Miguel advertising and Frigo ice cream umbrellas. I had tried to photograph them and put a filter on them, as did all those people who followed, but they never fit her. He also liked to cook, I had done it since I was little. She prepared simple dishes but they didn't look bad on her, until he discovered the wonders that people cooked and uploaded to his instagram. He was never going to get his macaroni to look like this, nor that his high school friends wore coats and toupees, nor did his turtle do cute things in front of the camera, so there was no other. If I wanted to live a life worth sharing, I had to change city. And so he did…

¿You don't feel like eating it? Well, it's already available on Amazon.
