Ecléchico experience: functionality, calidad, distinction and originality without losing the referent. Bell & Ross surprises and excites when they meet.

Last week I was in Madrid immersing myself in the hubbub of the MBFWM, but there was time to do many more things. Invited by the very nice Laëtitia, Bell Communications Director & Ross in Spain, I went to the emblematic Grassy store on Gran Vía to discover Bell watches & ross live.

There is an exhibition taking place – ends this month – that honors the life and adventures of Alfonso de Orleans,  the first "aviator"” español. And in that incomparable setting – I love this phrase so party night – I let myself be won over by the details and ideas that inspire Bell watches & Ross.

The call to follow is “based on functionality without losing sight of details” since they pose as the watches for professionals who need this instrument in their day-to-day work. Y, let's recognize it, almost all of us need it. They have decided to bet on being inspired by aviation due to the passion that their creators feel for this subject..

Bell&ross is a watch brand that is inspired by the military watch from the beginning of the 20th century to the present. Their watches are born from the present, to continue exploring the history of aviation. Es decir, do not contain an inherited tradition and that corsets them, si no que currently explore the referents, classic ideas and designs; obtaining models that surprise by their union of concepts.

My favorite, the one that I show in the image, It's about a minimalist watch inspired by the “horizon” of airplane cabins, that tells you what position the wings of the plane are in. A great trick to develop an iconic watch, original and exclusive. Although I also loved the signature watch, el BR, with its unmistakable square case.

In addition to being able to try on some of their watches, discover very interesting details and have a coffee with Laëtitia I confirmed that the good work of luxury brands is not only in their products (materials, innovación, etc), but also in the way in which they are linked to culture and how they treat the press, the media and the final public.
