¡Reading this post will take you 7 minutos! ¡To enjoy!

The other day I made reference to her in an interview that Roberto from Life Behavior did to me, se trata de Ines Cruz, the girl behind the blog moda and trends At Agnes, one of my essentials in the reader given its naturalness, his point of view on fashion and his depth in the analysis of themes and reflections ¿You want to get to know her a little better? I have interviewed her to kill two birds with one stone, make it known to you and I know it personally!

¿Who are you and what do you do in the blogosphere??

I'm Ines, I have almost 28 years and I am passionate about fashion, reading and travel. I have a blog to give free rein to one of my hobbies, to write, and I take the opportunity to do it about my passions, hoping people out there like it. At Agnes.

¿Where does your passion for fashion come from??

The truth is that I am not very clear… (risas) I have always been quite attracted. From a very young age I leafed through fashion magazines, trimmed styles, I collected them… Telva has been read in my house since I can remember. Creativity, the craft, that unattainable point that some sewing houses have, the precious photographs of fashion editorials… Makes me crazy. Little by little I became more and more interested, until I saw that it was possible to combine it with my working life. First I did it by writing through the blog, and then taking courses and a master's degree to dedicate myself definitively to it.

¿How the idea of creating Chez Agnes is born?

Well, the truth is that the idea was born from everything except my passion for fashion. I am a person who tries to travel a lot, and when I started with the blog, I was on a course in Copenhagen, where was he spending the summer. How sending photos and personalized daily logbooks to friends and family was complicated and not very operational (y Facebook at that time it was not public, and it was only open to a few universities), I remembered that someone had told me about blogs and I thought it was a perfect opportunity… Así que, básicamente, I did it to share my international experiences with my friends and family.

¿What is what you like most about the world of fashion and what you least?

¿What I like the most? addition to the image, able to create dreams, I am fascinated by all the craftsmanship behind, the stories that lie beyond clothes: where do the fabrics come from, designers life, the inspirations… I devour with absolute passion all that kind of stuff.

What I like least is the image it has of doors to the outside… it seems that talking about fashion is synonymous with frivolity and superficiality, and that drives me crazy. Many do not realize the complex world behind, its implication for the economy of a country. Anna Wintour already said it in The September Issue “just because you'd rather dress up in a gorgeous Carolina Herrera dress over a grocery store staple doesn't mean you're dumb”. At Agnes

Nor do I like the ephemeral character that it has been acquiring. It seems that now everything has to die to the 6 meses… and that I think is part of the problem that there is so much revolution and conflict with designers lately.

¿Do you think that in fashion there are places for everyone or just for a few??

As everything, there is a place for which it is worth. Just like not everyone can be a doctor, or anyone can become a lawyer, not everyone can be in fashion. I believe that in addition to a business vision, one must have a point of sensitivity towards this world that is not learned… you have.

But I won't deny that it takes a push to get in, It's a pretty inbred world (at least, it is in Spain), and I think that there also lies part of his fame. Some years ago, when I made the final decision to enter this world from the labor point of view, someone told me that coming from another sector it was very difficult to enter, and that the ISEM MBA was one of the possible entry points, so there is some exclusion.

¿Information is mixed in your blog, reflection, streetstyle. ¿What do you consider to be your differential point from the rest of the bloggers??

I guess that's exactly it… variety. There are plenty of streetstyle blogs, and the information is out there… so part of the added value comes precisely from gathering information and reflection. I think that also part of the "attractive” lies in the fact that I do it as a hobby, as something totally unrelated to what I do in my day to day… and that's why it has that special point.

The blog already has a whopping 6 years online! ¿How growth takes place and how to overcome moments of weakness?

Well, as I told you, I created it with a view to a small circle of people, with which I would be lying if I said that I had great expectations in its beginnings. The blog has been evolving from almost a personal diary, to a blog more focused on fashion and my passions, and as I have been “professionalizing” in this aspect, and as a result, above all, of having begun to give him an outlet through the MBA, Facebook and Twitter just 1 year has been when I have started to see the visits grow. I am very excited to see how these grow day by day, and above all, that there are more and more people who are encouraged to comment. comments make my day.

¿What other blogs do you read and what are your references??

Uf… I read so many that sometimes I don't know how I have time (the end of Master has wreaked havoc on my reading for the last few 2 meses). In addition to this blog, I follow other generalists like Trendencias o Fashionisima, the Doublecloth Blogs and Becaria de la ModaMy Daily Style and the one of 2 friends: Martina Kien y Such is Life. When I have more time I broaden my sights to international ones like Style scrapbook o Jack&Jill.

¿Asimismo, who are your favorite designers or creators?

From the past, Balenciaga… I am fascinated by the construction of their models. Dior, Galliano in particular, has always driven me crazy. I had the opportunity to see his latest haute couture collection in Paris in his atelier and I thought he gave me something… Awesome. Karl Lagerfeld I love it too… And as for Spanish creators, would highlight Moisés Nieto (my latest discovery) and Elio Berhanyer.

¿What cannot be missing in the wardrobe of Chez Agnes and why?

If you ask me like “what would you take to a desert islandper” I would give you a very unoriginal answer: a little black dress, a good blazer (I have them in all colors, ¡¡I love!!, a cowboy that suits you, white shirt and basic heels or ballerinas that hit you with everything. Fundamental also a gold necklace and earrings… to give it life.

If you let me expand the suitcase, I would put some other headband… Accessories are what animate a look… so that would include hundreds.

Por último, tell us about any plans for the future ¿How do you see yourself inside 5 años? and of 15?

Within 5 years I see myself already consolidated within the world of fashion, working in a company related to the sector, to be able to be in a position that allows me to develop both my most business side, as my creative side more related to the product. ¿en 15? ¡I see it far away! but in fashion, enjoying… by then i would like to have my own family too.
